Dear “Ye Olde’s” C.L.A. Alumni,
We are living in the most interesting and challenging times. A time we would not have thought of as a medical challenge.
Because of the Coronavirus COVID-19, the “Ye Olde’s” coordinating committee made the decision, for safety reasons, to postpone the reunion that was scheduled for June 11-13, 2021 on the campus of Great Lakes Adventist Academy in Cedar Lake, Michigan. We will honor all three set of honor classes at next year’s in person gathering on June 10-12, 2022. That will include graduates from 1950, 1951 and 1952; 1960, 1961 and 1962; as well as 1970, 1971 and 1972 and we welcome all others who have graduated from Cedar Lake Academy 50 plus years ago. Space is not a problem since we will have the Fitness Center to meet in.
This year we are working with the honor class leadership to arrange some type of zoom meeting. More will be coming as things develop.
Please mark your calendar with the new date June 10-12, 2022 and we look forward to this special and rewarding weekend. Just remember it will be here before you know it.
Most importantly be safe and stay healthy.
