David Pano Appointed As New Literature Ministries Director

The Michigan Conference Executive Committee appointed Pastor David Pano to serve as the new Literature Ministries director, a position left vacant when Pastor Kamil Metz took a call to serve with the Indiana Conference.

Pano was born in Bolivia and gave his life to the Lord in 2009 at a GYC (Generation. Youth. Christ.) event in Berrien Springs, MI. He completed his theology degree from Ouachita Hills College in 2015 and began leading summer colporteur programs as a freshman in 2011. While serving as a Bible worker in the Battle Creek area (2015-2016), he accepted the invitation to become an assistant publishing director in 2017, where he served alongside Pastor Kamil Metz.

As assistant publishing director, Pano was responsible for the annual Youth Rush program that takes place each summer, where he directed, mentored, and helped lead the dedicated young people that distribute truth-filled literature to various communities in Michigan. David is also the pastor of the Williamston Seventh-day Adventist Company and has ministered in that capacity since 2018.

Seth Roberts, who has been serving as a leader in the summer program, and more recently, with various administrative responsibilities in the department, has been appointed as an assistant director.

Let us welcome Pastor David Pano and Seth Roberts to their new leadership roles as they embark on this new ministry journey.
